Semolina is not just used to make desserts like Semolina ghee balls or Kesari, but it can also be made into savoury dishes – Semolina Pancake. Semolina helps improve digestion and is good for heart health due to its fibre, iron and Vitamin B contents. It’s low in glycaemic index, which is great for managing sugar levels. I added vegetables like spring onions and parsley, but you can add any vegetables you like such as carrots or leeks.
Ingredients: 150g dry coarse semolina, chopped spring onions & parsley, mixed dry herbs, 3 eggs, milk. Method: 1. Beat the dry coarse semolina, eggs and milk together in a big bowl. 2. Then, add the chopped spring onions, parsley and mixed dry herbs. 3. Mix all the ingredients and make your pancake. 4. Dish out and serve.
