A Little Bit About Me
Hello everyone, I’m Vivian Benjamin. First of all, welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. I’m a Registered Nurse and a Registered Nutritionist, passionate about exploring the limitless possibilities of holistic nutrition. My goal in creating this blog is to share with everyone about the art and science of nutrition, where we use food to heal and rejuvenate ourselves.
My journey began while caring for my grandmother, who was bedridden as a result of a diabetic foot ulcer. Every 3 days a week, a nurse would come to dress her wound. At first, I just watched from a distance, but gradually I became interested. So, I decided to go to nursing school and study nursing. At some point in my course of life as a nurse, I discovered that people get sick not only due to poor food choices but also misinformed dietary selections.
Dietary consumption is primarily determined by cultural influences. Most people still believe that certain food is good for our health, although no evidence supports this. Our community needs to develop an understanding of how food nourishes the body. At that point, I decided to educate myself on how food helps sustain our well-being hence; I studied Human Nutrition. After gaining this knowledge, I would like to coach people on how food has the power to renew our bodies inside and outside.
