RAISINS AND CASHEW CARROT RICE

This dish contains healthy food such as carrots, raisins, cashew and cardamom. Carrot contains a rich source of beta-carotene, which helps reduce oxidative damage in your cells. Cardamom is the queen of spices and contains numerous medicinal properties. Check out my article on the medicinal properties of cardamom  cardamom-the-queen-of-spices.html

Ingredients: carrot (grated), basmati rice, butter, raisins, cashew, cardamom & curry leaves

Method:
  1. First, boil the rice with some water.
  2. While the rice is cooking, add butter to a different pan and cook the carrot, raisins, curry leaves and cardamom for at least 5 minutes.
  3. After that, add the dish to the rice and stir it well to mix everything.
  4. Once fully cooked, dish out and enjoy. ​
