TOFU SAMBAL

Tofu is made by coagulating soy milk and pressing the resulting curds into white blocks. It is rich in plant-based protein. Apart from that, it is also high in calcium and iron. The health benefits of tofu include – protecting heart health, preventing certain types of cancer (breast cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer & prostate cancer), regulating sugar levels, protecting the bones and improving brain function.


Ingredients: tofu (cut into small cubes), mustard seed, onion, garlic & homemade ginger paste (onion, garlic &
                               ginger blended together), chilli powder


Method:
  1. Pour oil into a pan and cook the onion, garlic and mustard seeds for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the tofu, chilli powder, ginger paste and mix them together.
  3. Allow the dish to cook for 10 more minutes.
  4. Dish out and enjoy.
