YAM DISH

Yam is a type of tuber plant. It is high in dietary fibre, potassium, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, magnesium and manganese. Yam is packed with health benefits such as anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant properties, prevents cancer, protects the heart, reduces cholesterol and sugar levels and promote gut health. This is a simple yam dish you can cook in your everyday life.
 
Ingredients – yam, onion, garlic, coriander leaves, curry leaves, turmeric and
                                 curry powder.
 
Method:
1. Heat a pan and add some oil.
2. Toss in the chopped onion and garlic.
3. After a few seconds, add the chopped yam and stir.
4. Then, add turmeric and curry powder. Mix everything.
5.  Dish out. Add some chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves to garnish.
6. Enjoy
