SPICY LEMONGRASS CHICKEN

Lemongrass is a medicinal herb and an aromatic healer. The health advantages of lemongrass are – it relieves cough & nasal congestion, promotes digestion, contains antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties, regulates sugar & cholesterol levels and lowers high blood pressure. Ingredients: onions (chopped), garlic (chopped), ginger paste (onion, garlic and ginger blended as paste), lemongrass, chicken, coriander leaves

Method:
  1. Marinate the chicken with chilli powder, turmeric and salt a few hours before cooking the dish.
  2. Pour oil into a pan and toss the chopped onions and garlic. Add the lemongrass after a few minutes and cook it.
  3. Put the marinated chicken in the pan and add some milk. (I prefer adding milk as it gives a creamy and spicy taste) (you could also add water)
  4. Then, after the chicken is medium-cooked, put in the ginger paste and stir it.
  5. Finally, dish out and add coriander leaves for more flavour. 
  6. Enjoy​
